Restoration work finishes on Lorca’s medieval wall

RESTORATION work on 190 metres of Lorca’s medieval city wall has been completed.

Work on five towers and five stretches of wall has been carried out with an investment of €1.5 million, with around 80 per cent being financed through the European Regional Development Fund.

Historical heritage is one of the main attractions for tourists to the city and parts of the city wall date back to the eighth century.
