LOW-COST flight companies have brought 76,476 passengers to the Balearic Islands during the first two months of 2015.
This figure translates to a 21.8 per cent increase on the same period of the previous year, according to the data released by the General Sub-department of Tourism Studies of the Tourism, Industry and Energy Ministry.
Palma de Mallorca Airport received 74,829 passengers out of the total, which represents a 21.7 per cent increase in comparison with 2014.
In February, 42,667 passengers were brought to the islands, 25.1 per cent more than the same month of last year.
