Diabetes under discussion

EIGHT per cent of people in the province of Malaga and almost one third of people over the age of 75 suffer from diabetes.

The figures were given at a Spanish National GP Diabetes Day held in Malaga City where more than 250 GPs met to swap notes and discuss how to prevent the condition, which doctors said caused 35 per cent of visits to their offices.
