POSITIVELY Pink, a charity founded in 2009 to help women and raise awareness of cancer, will be holding a fundraising event on Saturday April 4.

Starting at 11am at the Hotel Oceano, a walk has been arranged along the La Cala / Calahonda boardwalk.

The popularity of this annual event grows from year to year and is a great help to funding the charity’s work.

Joining in costs just €10 which will go towards cancer screening programmes, and those taking part are welcome to dress in pink or blue if they wish to.

To register, send your name to info@positively-pink.com, private message facebook.com/PPCostaDelSol or telephone 610 774 408

The charity provides free breast screening programmes for British women living on the Costa del Sol, including a consultation, physical examination and mammogram or ultrasound screening. Following the success of Positively Pink, a Positively Blue campaign was also created to catch early signs of prostate cancer in men.
