Youth association of Almuñecar collects food for the needy

MORE than 2,000 kilos of food were raised by youth association al-Munekkab to be donated to Caritas in Almuñecar.

All food items were given to the volunteers by clients of big supermarket chains at their front doors.

These young men and women from the youth association al-Munekkab were able to collect this staggering amount in only one day.

“Once more, Almuñecar residents displayed great support for those who need it the most,” said the association.

Caritas Almuñecar commented: “What is learnt during one’s youth is kept for the rest of one’s life. Thanks for helping us to help others.”
