Rural paths of Torrox will have better signposting

RURAL paths and tourism routes of Torrox will be improved as the council has received a €20,000 aid to carry out signposting works.

Head of the Environment Department of Torrox Council, Lauren Salvatierra explained that the aid will be used to boost the rural areas of the town and landscapes, with the aim of improving the appearance of the village with a consequent benefit for businesses and hotel establishments that work in this industry.

The aid has been granted by the Axarquia Rural Development Group (GDR) and is co-financed by the European Agriculture and Rural Devlopment Fund as well as the regional government.
