Taxi discounts for young Malaga revellers

MALAGA City’s youth department has announced that a Bonotaxi Joven scheme aimed at encouraging young drinkers to get a taxi home instead of driving will begin on March 13.

AuMat, TaxiUnion and TaxiTransfer will be taking part in the scheme, which has a budget of €29,999 and will benefit an estimated 10,000 young adults in the city with €3 discounts on their rides home.

To receive a voucher, those interested must provide proof that they are aged between 18 and 35 and live, work or study in the city.

The discounts will be applied from half past midnight to 5am on Fridays and Saturdays and bank holidays, but Easter and the Malaga fair week are excluded.
