Crispy Cod, forget about the small fry

Good old fish and chips.

IF you are on holiday or live on the Costa del Sol the chances are that you will at some point crave for the taste of good old fish and chips.

The Crispy Cod, formerly known as Joey’s has been established now for 14 years and the present owner, Sean, has turned it into the number one destination for British style fish and chips. Situated on the sea front of Fuengirola you could not ask for a better location to enjoy this family favourite to eat in or take away. Sean has focused on what he does best, and that is to serve up quality. The fish is freshly skinned and boned and the potatoes are freshly cut every morning, the batter is his own secret recipe and the homemade mushy peas have attracted a following too.

As this is a family business, all hands are on deck to make sure that the standards are consistently high and Sean’s wife makes sure front of house runs smoothly.

As the menu is not as extensive as some in the UK, Sean and his staff can concentrate on delivering great value for money and the much craved after taste of home. It has been said that the Crispy Cod is “The best traditional chippy in Spain.” Why not taste for yourself. You will find Crispy Cod on the Paseo Maritimo in Fuengirola, located in front of the Hotel Piramedes.

For reservations or take away telephone 952 587 351, or visit www.crispy cod.com, open 7 days per week from 1pm to 11pm.
