A BODY found on a building site is believed to be that of Antonio Velasco Rodriguez, a Gibraltar worker who disappeared last November.
A La Linea security guard found the body, in an advanced state of decomposition and in clothes that match those Velasco was last seen wearing on November 19, 2014, on a building site next to a hostel.
Although he was believed to have lived in Sotogrande, staff from the hostel confirmed that the 34-year-old man from Madrid had been staying there before he went missing.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine if the body found is that of the missing man and the cause of death.
