New look for taxis

PICTURES of a golf course, a beach and the coastal path along with the slogan ‘Mijas… Inmensa’ will adorn the front doors of Mijas taxis.

Councillor Jose Antonio Sanchez Peña explained that the stickers, which will also include the vehicle’s registration number, will serve to provide a new, coordinated look for the 114 vehicles that make up the Mijas fleet.

The new look follows recent implementation of taxi meters and new tariffs which are aimed to increase locals’ and tourists’ faith in the service.
