Police ruin tourist’s plan to do a runner

A FRENCH woman has been arrested for allegedly trying to leave a Malaga hotel without paying.

The owner of a hotel the 27-year-old had been staying at called the Local Police force saying a woman was trying to leave without settling her bill.

When policemen arrived at the hotel, the woman told them that she didn’t have any money but had phoned her mother to ask her to send her a postal order.

Yet upon taking the woman to the nearest post office, the officers discovered that the code number she had provided did not exist and arrested her.
