THE employment rate of women with higher education has increased by 21.8 per cent in the Balearic Islands.
The figures correspond to the last three months of 2014 compared to the same period of 2010, when the highest increase was registered, according to the data released by Randstad on the occasion of the International Women’s Day (March 8).
More than 79,000 women with higher studies had a job in the Islands in the last three months of 2014, 14,000 more workers than the same period of 2010.
Currently, more than 47 per cent of the total female employees have higher studies, while in 2013, the figure was 46 per cent, which translates into 172,000 more workers.
