A WANTED man from Redhill in the UK has been arrested in Mijas.
National Police force officers discovered the 41-year-old Brit had two pending arrest orders as a UK court had sentenced him to 20 years in jail for money-laundering and a Malaga court had also sentenced him to four years.
Although the man tried to avoid detection by presenting a relative’s driving licence to policemen, they became suspicious and took him in to the station for identification, at which point the arrest orders were discovered.
The man, who has been charged with using false ID, had been handed over to the courts.
