THE wife of Juan Antonio Roca, the leader of the Malaya corruption circle that rocked Marbella nine years ago, will receive €6,685 to cover bills.
Roca’s wife Maria Rosa Jimeno presented a written plea to the Malaga court that heard the Malaya cases with a list of expenses including her son’s university fees and utility bills.
After studying the petition, the judge gave authorisation for a judicial secretary to release the amount each month from funds the couple had to deposit with the courts in April 2009.
Roca was sentenced to 11 years in jail in October 2013 while his wife, who was also tried for alleged money-laundering, was cleared.
