TENDERS are in for a ‘hub’ to help promote business and employment in an Almerian town.
On Friday, February 20 proposals from five companies were opened at Huercal Overa Council for tenders for the new project.
This is the first step in the construction of the business hub, which will be located in the industrial area, will cover approximately 1,300 square metres and will house classrooms for ICT, training and other courses. The project has a budget of €600,000 and is 80 per cent funded by FEDER. Huercal Overa Council will manage the project.
Huercal Overa mayor, Domingo Fernandez, said: “We hope to contribute to improving employment in our town. We open new doors for entrepreneurs, continuing the route of active policy that we have marked with enterprise and employment.”
