‘Swing’ singer back with a jazz theme

WELL-KNOWN singer Patrick Knowles is back on the Costa del Sol for a Spanish tour with a jazz theme.

Patrick and his ‘Swing Thing’ Big Band will kick off their tour in Puerto Banus on March 5, before shows at El Madronal/Zarzaletta, on the Ronda road, then on to Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante and Madrid. Patrick is a former Costa del Sol resident, having first bought a property in Nagueles in 1997 and then in La Heridia in 1990. He upped sticks in 1997 for Cape Cod and then later for Miami in Florida.

He has sung in every great jazz venue in the States, mainly touring with his ‘Swing Thing’ Big Band and David Lenker from Philadelphia.

Mark Griffiths, of Classical FM Radio, London, once said that Patrick “provides sophisticated, entertaining renditions of the greatest songs we’ll ever have the pleasure of hearing!”.
