A NEW report on waste disposal has placed Benalmadena amongst the top towns on the Costa del Sol for recycling.
A total of 1,259 tonnes of glass, 742 tonnes of cartons and 747 tonnes of paper were recycled in Benalmadena in 2014, the report presented by Urban Waste councillor Juan Olea revealed.
Olea explained that a considerable increase was registered compared to figures for 2013 and expressed his pleasure that more people jumped on the recycling-wagon each year.
