What rain? Costa del Sol experiences a surprisingly dry winter

ALTHOUGH many have said this winter feels extra bad on the Costa del Sol, it has so far been drier than usual according to Malaga Weather Centre.

Average rainfall for January-February since 1942 was given by the centre as 139 litres per square metre, far more than the 78 litres registered since the beginning of 2015.

It remains to be seen whether further deluges will bring figures up to average before the month ends, yet so far this looks to be unlikely.
