Motril police arrest man for kicking partner in the street

A 36-YEAR-OLD man was arrested last Monday (February 16) in Motril when he was caught allegedly kicking and screaming at his girlfriend by Local Police.

The incident took place in the area around the hospital, where the officers were patrolling and were alerted after neighbours called the emergency services.

Police say that they witnessed the man screaming at the woman and kicking her in the middle of the street.

Officers confirmed that she was his partner and that they had children in common.

The woman was lying on the ground with minor injuries and was taken to a medical centre in an agitated state.

The man was taken into custody and is waiting to appear before a judge.
