MORE than 30 firefighters were needed to put out a fire in an abandoned industrial warehouse on Calle Bodegueros in Malaga City.
Although nobody was injured and neighbouring warehouses were not affected, large amounts of plumbing and PVC materials inside the building made the blaze harder to control than originally expected and alarmed those who saw the column of thick black smoke it caused.
It remains to be discovered how the fire started, but firefighters stated that it was the third time the warehouse had caught fire in under a week.
