A TOTAL of 83 bars and restaurants are taking part in Fuengirola’s fourth Cazuela de la Abuela (Grandma’s casserole) gastronomic event, which runs until March 1.
The celebration aims to promote the variety of restaurants in Fuengirola along with traditional Spanish cookery.
Tasters of typical dishes will be available at participating restaurants with a drink included for just €2 each.
As in previous events of this type, 40,000 ‘passports’ will be available, which members of the public can have stamped at places they try out tasters.
Once five stamps have been obtained, the passports can be handed in to the Tourism Office in exchange for a small gift.
Completed passports will be included in a draw for prizes including hotel stays, electrical appliances and free meals.
