Council promises Estepona street will be ready for celebration

SAN ISIDRO, celebrated on May 15, is one of the most important saints’ days for Estepona and is marked by traditional celebrations.

One of the busiest streets during the celebrations is Calle Casares, and the council has had to reassure worried locals that the street, where roadworks are currently underway, will be ready in time for the parties.

The work in process aims to improve the appearance of the street, add pavements and renew mains water and sewage pipes under the road, and councillor Ana Velasco has promised that it will be finished within two months.
