AN ENERGY plan for Velez-Malaga is expected to reduce the public bill by €100,000 per year.
The plan has also been designed to contribute to environmental resources optimisation and could be paid off in a period of seven years, according to Concepcion Labao, Head of the Urbanism and New Technologies Department.
A total of €700,000 will have to be spent by the council to launch the programme, which would affect different public buildings including the town hall, the Fernando Ruiz Hierro sports centre, the indoor pool, the Teatro del Carmen, Torre del Mar’s indoor pool, and the Local Police station, among others.
