Man arrested in Palma for causing car accident

A 24-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Palma after causing an accident while allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

The incident took place on Saturday (February 7) in the area of Calle Joan Ripoll i Trobat, (Son Dameto neighbourhood).

Police officers believe the man took a curve at high speed and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into two other cars that were parked in the street.

As a result of the collision, the man’s car rolled over, although he was able to exit the vehicle and did not suffer any injuries.

An alcohol test showed that he was three times over the limit and he was taken into custody.
