Tourists consider Almeria best value for money

Tourists consulted in a recent study gave Almeria eight marks out of 10 for quality and value.

The official study on tourism in Andalucia for the last three months of 2014 put Almeria in top position for value for money, and revealed that the province stood out from the rest for its quality tourist attractions, especially the countryside and beaches.

Other aspects visitors rated highly were citizen safety, tourist information and traffic.

During the period studied, 7 per cent of all visitors to Andalucia went to Almeria, and on average spent €53.6 per day.
