A NEW security and surveillance system has been put into place at Benalmadena Pueblo’s Ramon Rico sports centre.
Seven high-tech surveillance cameras have been installed which will allow the various parts of the centre to be seen from reception.
The Municipal Sports Department has spent almost €3,000 on the system.
“The cameras will reinforce security within the sports centre and help avoid vandalism and thefts when the centre is closed,” Sports councillor, Juan Olea, explained.
