LOS BARRIOS council has launched a mobile app which will allow locals to inform of problems in public areas.
Mayor Jorge Romero explained that reporting broken pavemenst, potholes or fallen traffic signs for example will be easy thanks to the new system.
The aim is for citizens to take a photo from smartphones and send it straight through to the council, which will let maintenance workers know exactly what and where the problem is.
The Cuida Los Barrios app is available for Android and can be downloaded from www.losbarrios.es
