CALPE Town Hall’s decision to suspend paid ‘zone azul’ parking is proving unpopular with shopkeepers.
Drivers can now park without paying in all streets but in a snap poll by the council, 66 per cent of business-owners asked for a return of blue zone areas. Sixty-five per cent claimed that it was now harder for clients to find parking spaces.
