ESTEPONA local police officers are to receive new bulletproof vests over the next few weeks, the council has announced.
A batch of 30 new vests will bring the total the Local Police force in the town owns up to 40, giving access to the necessary equipment to all patrolling police officers and considerably reducing the risk they face while on duty.
Four new motorbikes have also been purchased, allowing police officers quicker passage through the narrow streets.
