Big Spanish fashion names to attend Mijas show

MIJAS is planning a four-day fashion extravaganza in La Cala de Mijas in April.

The first edition of the Pasarela del Mar de Mjias show will be held at the fairground in La Cala from April 16-19, and will include fashion displays, conferences and a fashion fair, which national and young Andalucian designers are expected to attend.

Retired Cordoban designer Elio Berhanyer, one of the great Spanish fashion ambassadors of the 20^th century who dressed figures including Ava Gardner and Queen Sofia, was the first to confirm his presence at the show and will be giving a conference.

Madrid designer Lorenzo Caprile has also confirmed his presence.
