Torrevieja youth centre helps thousands

TORREVIEJA’S CIAJ youth centre dealt with 15,453 consultations and enquiries last year, an average of 61 per day.

Of these, 60 per cent were dealt with in person at the CIAJ centre, 22 per cent by telephone and 18 per cent of communication was through various other channels such as social media.

In terms of participation, a total of 7,383 young people, aged up to 30, participated in any of the 60 activities organised by the city’s Youth department last year.
