MIJAS Council has started the ball rolling to legalise about 700 Calahonda homes.
Following many years of uncertainty, the green light was given at the council’s January plenary session for initial modifications to the General Urban Development Plan (PGOU) to allow licences of first occupation to be issued for Calahonda Royale urbanisation properties.
The ball is now in the court of the Junta de Andalucia regional government, which must review and approve the measure.
