A GERMAN au pair was arrested at Malaga-Costa del Sol airport after allegedly stealing items from the Marbella home she had been working in.
The family reported that the 21-year-old had left after just one week working for them, taking an expensive mobile phone and a games console and leaving a note saying she was going to the UK.
Police officers at the airport caught the young woman attempting to board a plane to Germany and found she was carrying the goods reported as stolen, plus another six mobiles, two iPods, a laptop computer, a hard-drive, an e-book, two pairs of sunglasses, 10 videogames and €110 in cash.
