Four new padel courts for La Herradura

ALMUÑECAR Council announced the construction of four new municipal padel courts in the area of La Herradura.

With a budget of €164,119, the project was put out to tender and finally taken by local company Turcoast.

Deputy Mayor Juan Jose Ruiz Joya explained that the new courts would be located in a land plot near the Sports Centre of La Herradura, at the neighborhood of La Mezquita.

“The location will allow the padel court users to use the changing rooms located inside the Sports Centre,” said Mr Ruiz.

He also said that the new facilities were an addition to the existing seven courts located at the Rio Verde complex and the Francisco Bonet stadium in Almuñecar and would allow for important sports events to be held in La Herradura.
