MOTRIL’S Casa Garach renovation works are close to completion.
The historic building will become Costa Tropical’s headquarters as well as home to some of the public department’s offices.
Mayor of the town, Luisa Garcia Chamorro, together with head of the Commonwealth of Costa Tropical municipalities, Jose Garcia Fuentes, visited the restoration works at the building, which have had a budget of more than €1 million, paid for by the Commonwealth.
The Casa Garach was built at the beginning of the 20th century and it is located in the Plaza de Javier de Burgos, with a surface of 1,483 square metres.
Works are expected to be completed in two months and will maintain the building’s antique façade.
