FITUR: Torrevieja has presence on the Costa Blanca stand at the tourism fair in Madrid.
TORREVIEJA is being represented at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid.
The city has a presence within the Costa Blanca’s exhibition space, which features a new, innovative curved design, aimed to simulate a place between the sea and sky. The new stand has also been designed as a cost-cutting measure and will be used at six other national fairs.
Torrevieja has a particular emphasis on gastronomy, sports and new technologies such as a new tourism smart phone application, which is being launched in Madrid by Mayor Eduardo Dolon and the deputy for Provincial Tourism, Joaquin Albaladejo.
The pair will also attend 15 meetings during FITUR with officials and businessmen from countries like France, China, Russia and Argentina, all with the aim of establishing lines of collaboration with other agencies to foster greater promotion and tourism of the city on national and international levels.
