GREEK singer Demis Roussos died on Saturday (January 24) at a hospital in Athens (Greece).
The death has been confirmed by his daughter Emily, and French newspaper Figaro.
Born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt, the singer had enormous international success during the 70s and 80s as a solo performer and also as part of groups such as The Idols and Aphrodite’s Child. In 2009 he released his last album, titled ‘Demis’.
