Cabopino marina
COSTA DEL SOL leisure ports are waiting for a legal solution regarding boats abandoned by their owners, numbering around 35.
Cabopino is the worst affected with 11 abandoned boats with debts of up to €44,000, followed by Estepona marina with eight and Fuengirola and La Duquesa with seven each.
Financial difficulties have reportedly caused more than 10,000 boats to be abandoned at marinas across Spain, and the situation has lead to port managers asking the authorities for a solution.
