Sweet prizes for Christmas event

WINNERS of prizes from the Navidad Dulce (Sweet Christmas) event held in Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, over Christmas were awarded at a ceremony at the town hall.

Mayor Ana Mula and councillors Isabel Moreno and Pilar Narvaez gave out raffle prizes to people who had had their event passports stamped at five participating establishments, and Il Signore was awarded a prize after being voted the best of them all by users.

The second edition of the event, which ran from December 15 to January 6, allowed Fuengirola locals and visitors to try typical sweetmeats and a hot drink at 46 establishments for just €2 each.

Mula said the council is already planning next Christmas’s edition of the event.
