STARVED MARES: Saved by environmentalist group FundacioNaturaParc.
TWO neglected mares were rescued by environmentalists in Llubi.
Following a tip-off from an unidentified individual, members of environmentalist non-profit organisation Fundacio Natura Parc and Local Police officers arrived at a rural property and found the two animals on the brink of starvation. One of them was found lying on the ground, too weak to even stand up, and is in a very serious condition.
The mares were attended to at the scene and then taken to the Natura Parc headquarters, where they are being looked after.
