COUNCIL VISITS: Children learn about the facilities.
MORE than 1000 schoolchildren from Motril will visit their local town hall during the next three months.
They will be able to enjoy guided visits to learn more about how the council works.
Mayor of the town, Luisa Garcia Chamorro, received the first group of these special visitors, children from the first year of the Virgen de la Cabeza Primary school.
The visits will start at the central patio, where the pupils will be taught about the council’s different operations. Later, they will be taken to the Plenary Chamber to learn about the room where citizens’ interests are represented. Finally, the children will visit the ‘Protocol room’.
