MOST people on the Baleares prefer getting gifts from the Three Kings rather than Santa Claus.
Four out of five people born on the Balearic Islands – 98 per cent – said they would rather get their gifts on January 6 and not on December 25, and 64 per cent said they planned to go the Three King’s Parade, held on January 5 held all over Spain according to a survey conducted by DaWanda.es.
The study looked at 2,500 Spaniards between 18 and 60 years of age. More than half of respondents (54 per cent) said they slept like a baby the night before the arrival of the Three Kings, while 39 per cent admitted to being a little bit nervous.
According to the study, 45 per cent of people want their gifts to be a complete surprise, though one in every three respondents said he or she still wrote a letter to the Three Kings.
A small percentage of tech-savvy (4 per cent) respondents indicated they emailed gift suggestions to their friends and family members, while 2 per cent of them reported posting their wishes on social media.
