THE Costa del Sol Decorative and Fine Arts Society (DFAS) will start the New Year concentrating on Scandinavian art, with a number of talks bound to be of interest to art lovers.
On January 12 at the Salon Varietes Theatre in Fuengirola the focus will be on famous artist’s works depicting wooded landscapes, cliffs, beaches, small fishing harbours, rugged fishermen and robust women, as well as domestic interiors and sculptures.
The next day will feature a lecture on the work of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and the famous ‘belle epoque’ period. The talk will be held at the Danish Club on the Carretera de Mijas.
