NERJA Council has provided the Local Police unit with two new vehicles.

The two new Renault Meganes have been equipped with all the requirements established by the Junta de Andalucia regional government.

At a cost of €43,000, they were put out to public tender, finally being bought from Autotalleres la Vega.

Council representative Jose Miguel Garcia explained that the council would continue to upgrade and replace the Local Police equipment when necessary to offer an improved service for all citizens.
