SITUATED in a lovingly restored finca in Benitachell, Tres Arcos is offering a Christmas feast to behold.
A festive menu is being served daily throughout December with the lunch and evening menu offering changes each day ensuring that no matter when you visit you are guaranteed a tempting choice for the taste buds.
A selection of starters include the likes of smoked salmon with orange, rocket and parmesan salad; melon with serrano ham; chicken liver parfait with port, red currant and onion marmalade and grilled goats cheese and caramelised pears with crushed walnut and maple dressing.
For mains you will be just as spoilt for choice with hake, baked with smoked salmon, served on crushed dill new potatoes with cava and langoustine sauce; Galician roasted beef with Yorkshire pudding; French style steak pie with merlot red wine, and roast rolled turkey breast, all appearing on the menu.
Those with a sweet tooth will not be disappointed with choices including warm chocolate fudge cake; Christmas pudding; apple and blackberry crumble; grilled pineapple with vanilla ice cream; choux pastry profiteroles and sticky toffee pudding.
During lunch service, two courses, including half a bottle of wine, costs €15.90 per person, with three courses for €18.90. If you wish to dine in the cosy, welcoming restaurant in the evening, the two-course option with wine is €16.90 and €19.90 for three courses.
New Year’s Eve promises to be a celebration to remember. End 2014 in style with a three-course meal before seeing in 2015 downstairs in the adjoining Bull and Bear British Country Pub with free cava and grapes at midnight, accompanied by entertainment, disco and karaoke with Steve Solo.
A final few places are still available costing €35, including half a bottle of wine. And why not make the most of the celebrations and take advantage of their five en suite rooms, available within the small boutique hotel, to stay over to really enjoy your evening out at any time of the year.
Tres Arcos is owned and run by the Johnson family, who took it over and renovated the restaurant around seven years ago. They strive to offer the best in quality cuisine and friendly service, and are ready and waiting to give you an experience to remember.
