Kidnapping thieves arrested

POLICE: discovered stolen goods in homes belonging to the suspects

MALAGA National policemen arrested two men aged 21 and 32 suspected of illegally holding and stealing from a mentally disabled woman in the city.

The men allegedly accosted the victim in the street and threatened her before forcing her to go to one of their homes.

Once there, the attackers reportedly waved a knife at her and forced her to hand over her bicycle and backpack.

After accompanying the victim to her bank to apply for passwords to access her account online, the suspects allegedly took her to another home and locked her in a room overnight.

The next morning the woman managed to escape out of a window and go home.

Policemen identified and arrested two Malaga men as possible culprits and upon searching their homes found most of the items reported stolen along with a knife and incriminating bank documents.
