New band to take coast by storm

FANS of the former band Strickland can look forward to once again seeing vocalist Adam King and guitarist Dave Spencer perform, this time under a different moniker. Costa Blanca’s latest music band, Allerton Road, will perform their very first gig on December 21 at Champagne in Javea.

Fronted by former Strickland singer and Overseas FM DJ Adam King, the band is named after the road in Liverpool Adam grew up on, and features some of the finest musicians on the Costa Blanca. Adam and former Strickland guitarist Dave Spencer have teamed up with three more local musicians to take the Costa Blanca by storm. They have spent the last year writing new material, and with a few festival dates coming up in 2015, they are confident that Allerton Road will be a hit with audiences on the coast.
