THE Costa del Sol hosted a couple of very special guests recently – Novak Djokovic, accompanied by his new coach, Boris Becker.
The World Number One was practicing at the new tennis venue, owned by ‘Tennis Brothers’ Frank and Bernard Frances which is situated next door to Superbowl Bowling Club
These practice sessions were part of Novak’s preparation for the first Grand Slam of the year in Australia.
The previous Sunday had seen the Bowling Club host a ‘Fun Christmas
Tournament’ enjoyed by more than 30 members, with Pat Fisher and Janet
Holden coming out winners.
On Sunday January 5 the Club is holding a Three Kings Tournament, which is open to all, and will be followed by lunch at the club. More information: Superbowl on 952817713.
