Thoughtlessness led to mother’s plea

A 16-year-old girl who was reported missing by her mother after a Marbella nightclub visit has turned up safe and well.

Her mother had reported her missing to police on Monday after not having any contact with her since Saturday night (December 6). She also posted her as missing on websites appealing for information on her whereabouts, having been unable to track her down at relatives’ homes.

But it would appear it was simply a case of thoughtlessness on the girl’s part. She had been staying at a friend’s house without telling her mother.
