RETRO car enthusiasts had a chance to revive the good old days last weekend in La Herradura.
Called VII Classic Volkswagen Meet-up, the event gathered 38 Volkswagen cars and vans from every corner of Andalucia as well as Murcia, Alicante, Melilla and even the UK.
The vehicles were manufactured between 1958 and 2000 and were paraded around the town from Peña Parda to the Marina del Este harbour, escorted by Local Police.
The event was staged by Club VW Granada of La Herradura. Head of the association, Francisco Escoriza, thanked the council for the interest it had shown in the event and the services it had provided to help ensure the safety of everyone involved.
